Midwifery Unit Manager Position

Cabrini Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Midwife to fill the role of Associate Midwifery Unit Manager in our Maternity Services department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and operational direction to the Maternity department.
  • Coordinate and oversee the delivery of patient care.
  • Ensure hospital policies, procedures, and protocols are implemented and monitored.
  • Hold accountability for the ward when the Nurse Manager is not present.

About the Role

  • Demonstrated clinical and leadership skills as a Registered Midwife, minimum two years' experience in a similar role.
  • Hold, or are working towards, a Postgraduate qualification.
  • Current Registration with AHPRA.
  • Hold a current Working with Children Check.
  • Commitment to quality patient care and outcomes.
  • Ability to work within the Mission and Values of the organisation.
  • Flexibility and a positive attitude.
  • Attention to detail.
