Midwifery Career Advancement Opportunity at Northern Health

About the Role:
Northern Health is seeking motivated Registered Nurses to advance their careers with the Graduate Diploma of Midwifery at Kilmore District Hospital in 2025. This fixed-term part-time position offers a unique opportunity to develop skills and knowledge in midwifery, working collaboratively with experienced clinicians and educators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care in the postnatal ward, antenatal clinic, and birth suite
- Work collaboratively with obstetrics and gynaecology, social work, Koori maternity services, perinatal mental health, and physio teams
- Support breastfeeding and mother-crafting, and provide education to patients and families

Requirements:
- Bachelor of Nursing
- Current National Police History Check
- Current Working with Children Check
- Registered Nurse as per APHRA registration
- Recent acute medical/surgical experience (minimum 12 months, preferable 2 years)
