About the Role
This role will involve promoting excellence in research and leadership within the Monash School of Nursing and Midwifery. You will mentor and guide novice academics and students, leading ground-breaking research, and collaborating on interdisciplinary projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement research strategies to advance nursing and midwifery education and practice
- Mentor and support the growth and development of novice academics and students
- Lead and collaborate on interdisciplinary research projects
- Develop and teach courses in nursing and midwifery education
- Contribute to the development of policy and strategy within the faculty
Requirements
- Doctoral degree in Nursing or Midwifery
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse or Registered Midwife
- Proven track record of excellence in teaching, research, and clinical practice
- Leadership and mentorship skills
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
