International Accounting and Financial Operations Manager

The estimated annual salary for this role is between $120,000 to $180,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

  • Oversight of end-to-end accounting processes in Australia, encompassing financial reporting, month end close, accounts payable, accounts receivable, tax, and payroll.
  • Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, ASIC regulations, and timely submission of tax reports (notably monthly BAS reporting and annual FBT and tax return).
  • Cultivate and mentor junior team members, supporting their career development and goals.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for statutory audits, including responding to auditor requests.
  • Function as the key liaison between the US parent company and the Australian subsidiary.
  • Contribute to ad-hoc projects with various stakeholders across accounting and finance, encompassing inventory cost accounting, cash flow forecasting, transfer pricing, and fixed asset management.
  • Maintain oversight of local bank account balances and manage liquidity for payment runs.
  • Build and scale a local accounting team as Anduril Australia grows.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • CA/CPA qualification.
  • 3-5 years of experience in an accounting role (public accounting, industry, or both).
  • Able to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with teams across multiple time zones and departments.
