About the Role:

The Finance Manager will play a critical role in steering and enhancing financial and strategic operations. You will lead Corporate Finance initiatives, Financial & Management Reporting, Budget & Forecasting – aligning financial strategies with the company's goals through meticulous planning and reporting in accordance with GAAP. Your responsibility extends to Treasury management, optimizing financial operations including cash management, and ensuring robust financial systems are in place for accounts payable/receivable, and credit control procedures. Additionally, you will be instrumental in overseeing Investments, providing comprehensive monitoring, reporting, and valuation to support strategic decision-making and investment health assessment.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Financial Statement Development: Maintaining accurate financial statements and management reporting
  • Annual Budgeting and Forecasting: Leading annual budgeting and regular financial forecasting in consultation with key stakeholders
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and managing company secretarial obligations
  • Treasury Oversight: Treasury and financial system oversight, aligning with internal policies and external regulations
  • Investment Monitoring: Vigilant monitoring and valuation of investments, and aiding in divestments and onboarding of new investments

Requirements:

  • A highly motivated individual with a Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
  • CA or CPA qualification is essential, with a preference for candidates with Big 4 training background
  • Experience in PPP, renewable energy, or other relevant infrastructure, utilities, or investment sectors is highly regarded
  • Strong planning, organisational, and time management skills combined with attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication skills combined with analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and a commercial focus
