The current situation has created an opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager to join the team, working closely under the guidance of a seasoned CFO. This role offers the chance to lead a small team of qualified accountants and oversee financial operations and reporting for the business.

About the Role

This position is responsible for overseeing the financials for NSW, VIC, QLD, ACT, and international entities. As the Finance Manager, you will manage and supervise a team of 3, leading month-end and year-end closing processes. You will also be responsible for overseeing payroll, handling escalations and queries, and serving as the main point of contact for audit inquiries.

Your Background

To excel in this role, you should have prior experience as a Finance Manager or Senior Financial Accountant with team management experience. Your background should include proficiency in general ledger management, payroll, and awards administration. Experience within the professional services sector (e.g., law, consulting, engineering, media) is highly valued.

Benefits and Salary

The successful candidate can expect a salary range of $130K - $150K plus superannuation, along with the opportunity to work from home two days a week once settled into the role. This arrangement allows for flexibility and a better work-life balance.
