Investment Role

Frontier is looking for an expert to join its Capital Markets Team. The consultant will specialise in asset allocation and deliver high-quality investment and strategic macroeconomic advice and research to clients.

This role involves:

  • Research: Conducting capital markets and asset allocation research to improve knowledge and understanding of related issues faced by clients.
  • Client consulting: Producing bespoke work and interacting with external institutional clients to maintain strong relationships specifically in the areas of capital markets and asset allocation.
  • Supporting dynamic asset allocation (DAA) process, involvement in macroeconomic modelling and contributing to other research activities related to investment strategy.
  • Strategic thought leadership: Contributing to the formation of Frontier's strategic and dynamic asset allocation views and supporting client teams in providing asset allocation recommendations to client portfolios that produce long-term risk-adjusted return enhancements and/or risk mitigation.
Key Skills and Qualifications

The following capabilities are requirements of the position:

  • Relevant experience within banking, investment consulting, funds management or government with a role performing economic, investment and market analysis.
  • A strong fundamental understanding of investing and relevant quant skills.
  • Appropriate graduate and post graduate qualifications in relevant fields such as Economics, Finance or Commerce.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
