Investment Analyst, Asset Allocation

Cbus' Asset Allocation Team is responsible for setting the asset allocation of Cbus' diversified investment options. Key aspects of this new Investment role include contributing to investment process update and enhancements, providing support to other members of the team and participating in the fund's asset allocation process.

You will be conducting research into macroeconomic and financial market issues that are important to portfolio outcomes. This will include both short-term cyclical issues and longer-term secular trends. You will contribute to investment thesis from a bottom-up perspective

For your success it is beneficial to have around 2-5 years of investments experience with core competencies in quantitative analysis and modelling (preferably with ability to code) with deep interest in financial markets across multi asset classes.

You will be part of a small team and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate findings and collaborate with other members of the Investment Team.
Preferably you have solid understanding of data analysis and statistical techniques with common software development tools e.g. Python and VBA. and familiarity with Power BI.
