Job Opportunity: Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced quality assurance specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Project Management Office (PMO), you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of quality across our high-voltage infrastructure projects.

Working closely with our engineering, project delivery, and construction teams, you will embed quality into every stage of the project lifecycle - from planning and design, through to site execution and commissioning. You will be responsible for driving the standardisation and continual improvement of inspection and testing processes, as well as supporting project teams in the setup and implementation of Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and Certificates (ITCs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective quality management systems and processes
  • Conduct internal and supplier audits, reviews, and system health checks
  • Champion non-conformance and root cause analysis processes
  • Deliver training and guidance to project teams to uplift quality capability and embed best practices
  • Influence a strong quality culture across both office and site environments

Requirements:

  • 3+ years' experience in quality assurance, ideally on high voltage energy or civil infrastructure projects
  • Recognised qualifications in quality management or a related field
  • Certified or qualified quality auditor, with demonstrated experience planning and conducting audits in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 or equivalent
  • Practical experience developing and implementing ITPs, ITCs, and inspection/testing systems
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001, and familiarity with AS3000, AS3600, and AS4100
  • Ability to travel regularly to project sites and regional offices (approx. 2 weeks/month)
  • A current Australian Driver's Licence
