We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Quality Assurance Specialist. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of suppliers and ensuring the purchasing objectives are met in accordance with our strategy.

You'll perform quality assurance on purchased items for projects, verifying that parts meet agreed specifications. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing RFQ content to ensure all quality demands are met
  • Evaluating supplier submission of preliminary APQP plans prior to selection
  • Ensuring quality objectives are known to suppliers
  • Participating in cross-functional groups to document critical manufacturing processes
  • Evaluating the need for order audits to assess risks at potential suppliers

We're looking for someone with extensive experience working in a similar Supplier Quality focused role, a tertiary qualification related to Purchasing/Procurement (desirable but not essential), strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.
