Job Description

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in all aspects of our operations.

You will work closely with our Centre Directors and Operations Teams to implement improvement strategies and provide operational and administrative support to the Quality Assurance Leader and Head of Operations.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about quality assurance and has a strong background in early childhood education.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A minimum of 5-8 years' experience in a similar role;
  • Tertiary qualifications in Early Childhood Education;
  • A current state relevant Working with Children's Check and Police Check;
  • Current Child Protection Training (or willingness to obtain upon commencement);
  • A detailed understanding of Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations;
  • Sound experience with and implementation of the National Quality Standards;
  • Proven experience in compliance management, auditing, or quality assurance;
  • Knowledge of State-specific Child Safe Standards and Child Protection and Mandatory Reporting legislation (or willingness to obtain);
  • Knowledge of risk management principles, policy development and reviews and incident assessments and management;
  • Regulatory Authority experience and a proven track record in managing and conducting formal investigations;
  • Experience in the Assessment and Rating process and exhibited skills in preparing and maintaining Quality Improvement Plans;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills engagement;
  • Strong skills in collaborating and working closely with others to achieve outcomes;
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills;
  • A professional and polished approach, and the ability to deal with people in a variety of situations and at all levels;
  • The ability to work with compassion and empathy as well as resilience;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and PowerPoint;
  • A fun and positive outlook, paired with the ability to stay calm and focused in a fast-paced environment;
  • Project management skills and experience in policy development;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a solution-based focus, and an exemplary commitment to high standards; and
  • Training and facilitation experience.
