We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team on a full-time basis.

**Job Description:**

As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and resolving issues related to data loads or system functionality. You will also be accountable for end-to-end responsibility of your area of focus - collaborating and working closely with our off-shore support team and our clients.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Proactively respond to client queries and resolve incidents related to data loads or system functionality.
  • Provide support to MI Portal clients by working on business-as-usual data load activities (daily, weekly, monthly) ad-hoc data load/extracts as per requirements, carried out data quality & data integrity check to meet the client's expectation.
  • Effectively work on incoming client support requests & internal system/data issues based on agreed SLA.
  • Investigate issues related to data mapping/data conversion.
  • Maintain and support MI Portal BI reports for various MI clients.
  • Design/Develop/Implement/Maintain the new and existing store procedures used in ETL process. Participate in implementation of process & framework components that would streamline and automate the manual day to day support activities.

**Key Requirements:**

  • At least 1-3 years of working experiences as database developer, database support engineer/analyst or production support engineer.
  • Experiences of working in life sciences industry is an advantage.
  • Technical proficiency in MS SQL database is required.
  • In-depth T-SQL Skills & SSIS, SSRS, performance tuning of SQL, Store procedure & function is required.
  • Understanding of data warehousing model (star / snowflake schema) is required.
  • Ability to multitask and strong trouble shooting skills, reverse engineering skills to identify the root cause of issues.
  • Excellent communication skills.
