Job Description

We're seeking a highly skilled Database Systems Support Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our database support team, you'll be working closely with customers and cross-functional teams to resolve complex database and application-related issues.

You'll be responsible for providing expert-level support for PostgreSQL, MariaDB, MySQL, and Oracle database systems. Your expertise will help us deliver top-notch service to our customers and drive business success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert-level support for PostgreSQL, MariaDB, MySQL, and Oracle database systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues involving performance, availability, and data integrity.
  • Maintain and enhance workflow code to support automation in the cloud.
  • Collaborate directly with customers to understand their environments and provide solutions tailored to their needs.
  • Design and execute benchmark tests to evaluate and optimize database performance.
  • Develop and maintain robust technical documentation, including runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and best practices.
  • Present technical content effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Expert-level knowledge of PostgreSQL, MariaDB, MySQL, and Oracle database systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
