Database Solutions Expert

We are seeking a Database Solutions Expert to design and implement scalable, resilient database solutions that bridge traditional infrastructure with modern cloud platforms.

About the Role
  • Design and implement hybrid database solutions using Microsoft SQL Server across on-premise and cloud environments.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to deliver secure and cost-effective solutions.
  • Lead the modernisation of legacy systems and migration to cloud or hybrid architectures.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps to enable efficient database deployment and updates.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise database performance, availability and capacity.
About You
  • You have extensive experience in database engineering, including hybrid/cloud environments and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • You are skilled in Infrastructure as Code (especially Terraform), scripting (PowerShell, Python, or Bash) and DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.
  • You have a solid understanding of enterprise networking, identity and access management and security best practices in hybrid IT settings.
