About the Role

  • Provide personal care assistance to clients, ensuring their dignity and well-being are maintained at all times.
  • Assist clients with community access, promoting social interaction and engagement.
  • Perform light household cleaning tasks to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Prepare meals for clients, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences.
  • Offer emotional support and companionship to clients, helping them cope with daily challenges.
  • Shop for essential items and assist with transportation, ensuring clients have access to necessary resources.
  • Administer medication as required, following established protocols.

As a support worker, you will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to clients. You will also have opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge through ongoing training and professional development.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a support worker or similar role.
  • Current driver's license (P2 or above) and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • NDIS worker screening clearance.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • Working With Children Check.
  • Covid-19 vaccination (two x shots and booster).
