Job Title: Facade Engineer

We are seeking a creative and motivated individual to join our team as a facade engineer.

You will be working on the design of exciting projects in Australia, collaborating with experts in the field and building on your technical knowledge.

The role involves undertaking the design, engineering and documentation for facade and build-ability consultancy, including detailed engineering calculations, analysis, drawings and specifications.

You will also review contractor submissions, shop drawings and calculations, liaise and coordinate with the design/project team and other disciplines as required.

In addition, you will assist in preparing tender submissions, building relationships with clients and developing contacts within the facade industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and engineer facade systems for various projects
  • Undertake detailed engineering calculations, analysis, drawings and specifications
  • Review contractor submissions and shop drawings
  • Liaise and coordinate with design/project team and other disciplines
  • Assist in preparing tender submissions and building relationships with clients

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil/Structures)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Proactive and positive attitude
  • Dedicated with a passion for detail
  • Knowledge of relevant Australian standards and building codes
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite preferred
