Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated Graduate Façade Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team. This role involves designing, engineering, and documenting façade and build-ability consultancy for various projects. You will collaborate with a talented group of experts, expanding your technical knowledge and skills while advancing your career.

Our globally distributed team provides access to projects across Australia, Asia, and Europe from anywhere. Our work is technically interesting, offering a wide range of projects that foster growth, mentorship, and career opportunities with global potential.

  • School of Design and Built Environment (SODBE) Curtin University, Perth
  • EZONE, University of Western Australia, Perth
  • 'Walyalup' Fremantle Civic and Administration Building, Fremantle
Responsibilities

This role includes:

  • Designing, engineering, and documenting façade and build-ability consultancy
  • Reviewing contractor submissions; shop drawings and calculations
  • Liaising and coordinating with the design/project team and other disciplines within the organization as required
  • Façade engineering design and buildability consultancy, including material knowledge and installation techniques
  • Assisting in preparing tender submissions
  • Building relationships with clients on projects and develop contacts within the façade industry
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil / Structures)
  • Entry level or experienced graduate in structural and/or façade engineering
  • A strong and committed interest in structural engineering and façade design
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Proactive, positive attitude, dedicated with a passion for detail
  • Knowledge of relevant Australian standards and building codes
  • Proficient in MS Office suite (MS Word, Excel, and PDF in particular)
