Graduate Façade Engineer Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and motivated individual to develop their career as a Graduate Façade Engineer.

The position involves working across all stages of the project lifecycle, from business case and advisory to sustainability and carbon strategy.

About the Role
  • Design, engineering and documentation including detailed engineering calculations, analysis, drawings and specifications for façade and build-ability consultancy.
  • Reviewing contractor submissions; shop drawings and calculations.
  • Liaising and coordinating with the design/project team and other disciplines within Inhabit as required.
  • Façade engineering design and buildability consultancy, including material knowledge and installation techniques.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement façade designs that meet client requirements and industry standards.
  2. Conduct thorough analyses and reviews of contractor submissions to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
  4. Provide expert advice on façade engineering and buildability consultancy to clients and colleagues.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil / Structures).
  • Entry level or experienced graduate in structural and/or façade engineering.
  • A strong and committed interest in structural engineering and façade design.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
