This is a rare opportunity to work in a high-performing communications division as a Strategic Communications Professional. The role involves implementing innovative strategies, creating compelling content across digital and traditional channels, and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

In this position, you will be at the forefront of identifying opportunities, coordinating communication plans, and evaluating their success. You will collaborate with your Assistant Director to support the development and implementation of communication and engagement strategies.

The successful candidate will have over 3 years' experience in strategic communications, exceptional writing skills, and experience working in Government. They will be a team player with a service-focused mindset and the ability to adapt quickly to new systems.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Drafting and executing communication plans and strategies, while managing relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinating the implementation and evaluation of communication strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Writing and developing content for a broad range of communication channels, including web, social media, traditional media, newsletters, stakeholder toolkits, and information products.
  • Proactively identifying communication and engagement opportunities, coordinating the creation of relevant materials.
  • Maintaining strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

The estimated salary for this role is $55 per hour + Super, inclusive of a 25% casual loading. The anticipated hours per week are 38 (7.6 hours per day) for this contract. To be eligible for employment, applicants must be Australian citizens at the time of the job offer and have Government experience.
