Senior Contracts Specialist

A challenging career opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator to take on a key role in our organization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing subcontractor packages, scopes, lettings, and procurement schedules. They will also assist with progress claims and external variations, review, negotiate, and finalize subcontracts, manage and track project expenditure, including subcontractor claims, administer RFIs to clients, architects, and consultants, and administer the project HSE system.

Requirements:
  • A senior and mid-level construction/building contract/commercial management skill set with experience managing head and subcontracts on government building projects.
  • An aspiring contract administration level; demonstrated experience in leading subcontractor/trade administration on medium to large built form projects.
  • A relevant degree qualification, preferably in a field related to construction or a similar discipline.
  • Familiarity with Contract Law principles and construction-specific Acts, codes, and Regulations.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • A self-motivated individual with the ability to drive autonomous outcomes and decisions.
  • An appreciation of processes and systems, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures.
