Role Overview

A career opportunity exists to manage construction projects in the ACT region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare subcontractor packages, scopes of work and procurement schedules
  • Assist with progress claims and external variations
  • Review, negotiate and finalize subcontracts
  • Manage and track project expenditure, including subcontractor claims
  • Administer requests for information (RFIs) to clients, architects and consultants
  • Administer the project health and safety system
Requirements
  • Senior and mid-level construction/building contract/commercial management skills with experience managing head and subcontracts on government building projects
  • Demonstrated experience in leading subcontractor/trade administration on medium to large built form projects
  • Industry relevant degree qualification
  • Familiarity with Contract Law principles and construction specific Acts, codes and Regulations
  • Strong communication and self-motivation skills
  • Ability to drive autonomous outcomes and decisions
