Job Title: IT Service Continuity Specialist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced IT Service Continuity Specialist to join our team.


This role involves managing customer continuity requirements and delivering high-quality IT service continuity management services.



About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of value to customers and internal stakeholders through effective IT service continuity management practices.


This includes developing, coordinating, and communicating recovery environment requirements and plans for our customers.


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial IT, with experience in both mainframe and client/server technologies.



Key Responsibilities
  • Disaster Recovery Planning: Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans that align with customer requirements and relevant legislation.
  • IT Service Continuity Management: Deliver high-quality IT service continuity management services, ensuring compliance with customer and organizational policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Customer Relationship Building: Establish and maintain productive relationships with customers, stakeholders, and suppliers.


Requirements
  • Commercial IT Experience: 5+ years of experience in commercial IT, with a background in both mainframe and client/server technologies.
  • Expert Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of information systems, operating systems, databases, and networking.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to network and develop productive relationships with customers, stakeholders, and suppliers.
