Business Continuity / Operational Resilience / Risk Consultant – Insurance Sector

A leading insurance organisation is seeking an experienced professional to strengthen its resilience capability and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. This is a
6-month daily rate contract with potential to go permanent or extend
with immediate start and high visibility across the business.


Location:
Melbourne (preferred) or Sydney


Day rate:
$700 – $900 per day + super


Start:
ASAP – September 2025

What you'll be doing

  • Designing, writing, and testing
    continuity and recovery scripts
  • Developing and maintaining
    Business Continuity Plans (BCPs)
    across multiple business units
  • Leading
    Business Impact Analyses (BIA)
    and running scenario testing exercises
  • Supporting readiness for
    APRA CPS 230
    and other resilience requirements
  • Partnering with
    Risk, Compliance, Technology, and Business teams
    to embed resilience into daily operations

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience in
    Business Continuity, Operational Resilience, Disaster Recovery, or Operational Risk
    within
    insurance or financial services
  • Hands-on
    script writing and scenario planning
    capability
  • Strong
    stakeholder engagement and communication
    skills
  • Solid knowledge of
    APRA regulations (CPS 230 preferred)

This role will suit a
Business Continuity Specialist, Operational Resilience Manager, Risk Consultant, Disaster Recovery Lead, or Resilience Analyst
with proven insurance industry experience.
