About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Office Manager to join our team at Kingfisher Bay Resort on K'gari (Fraser Island), Queensland. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our reception and administration functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily incoming tour numbers for meals and accommodation, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Reconcile daily accounts and client billing, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Assist with reception operations, including accommodation bookings, check-ins, counter service, and answering telephones.
  • Manage daily back-office operations, notifying the Accommodation Manager of any resort issues requiring attention.
  • Oversee accommodated tour operations, ensuring seamless execution and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Induct and train staff to provide services at a consistent level, promoting a culture of excellence and customer focus.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will possess:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Front Office Manager in a 3-star or higher hotel or resort.
  • Proficiency in using hotel booking software, such as Events Pro, SIHot, or QuickTravel.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work independently, even during unsupervised shifts.
  • Keen attention to detail, quick thinking, and the ability to resolve customer service challenges.
  • A dedication to providing a professional level of service, coupled with a "can-do" attitude.
  • A current First Aid Certificate or a willingness to obtain one.
  • A valid open driver's license.
  • The legal right to live and work in Australia.
  • Knowledge or experience in an Accor property (desired).
