Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced professional to support Metering Operations with our team in a key advisory role.

About the Position
  • Provide operational HSEQ guidance and support at local level
  • Support and guide operational areas in ongoing enhancement of HSEQ culture and behaviours
  • Work as an active business partner with key stakeholders at all levels in the business to help deliver improved performance
  • Deliver ongoing continuous improvement of HSEQ systems and culture in line with business wide strategies
  • Provide operational HSEQ support to the Metering division

Foster a strong safety culture and mentor field crews through onsite presence and guidance. Lead, influence and coach teams to continually improve HSEQ behaviours and performance. Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct incident investigations, field audits, inductions, training and other HSEQ activities
  • Support risk management, toolbox talks, HSEQ committees and communication initiatives
Requirements
  • Cert IV, OHS or tertiary qualifications in a related discipline
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role in a similar industry & risk profile
  • Utilities and Metering experience highly desirable
  • Strong communicator with stakeholder engagement and investigation skills
  • Self-motivated team player, able to work autonomously and juggle multiple priorities
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence
