Health Safety Environment and Quality Manager

As a Health Safety Environment and Quality (HSEQ) Manager, you will lead the development, implementation and oversight of strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and promote a proactive safety culture. You will collaborate with teams to define business system requirements, develop and implement these systems, oversee and maintain them, ensuring compliance through audits and training.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Guiding and supporting project leaders and senior management in understanding and implementing HSEQ requirements comprehensively
  • Managing and enhancing in-house HSEQ systems
  • Assisting in the implementation and oversight of GHSEMS and BlueBook standards
  • Conducting regular HSE audits for projects and office environments, supporting the business to address findings and manage corrective actions for continuous improvement
  • Ensuring ongoing accreditation to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards
  • Serving as an ambassador for company values, promoting best practices in HSE

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Demonstratable experience in identifying business HSEQ system needs and architecture
  • Experience developing and implementing HSEQ systems
  • Understanding of office HSEQ requirements
  • Applied knowledge of QHSE Management Systems and quality tools
  • A consultative approach and ability to partner with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ideal experience in construction and an understanding of construction processes
