Community Resilience Leader

The Victoria State Emergency Service plays a vital role in building resilience across the state by supporting communities and partners through emergency preparedness, response, relief, and recovery activities.

Role Overview

As an integral part of the Unit Support Team, you will lead the development and delivery of community-focused programs aimed at achieving the goals of the VICSES Community Resilience and Renewal Strategy. This includes working closely with the Victorian community, key stakeholders, and Volunteer Units to enhance their capabilities and foster a culture of resilience.

To succeed in this role, you must be able to engage directly with diverse groups, facilitate collaborative initiatives, and support the recruitment and retention of SES Volunteers. You will also assist in responding to incidents and delivering community engagement activities and programs as required.
