  • Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires and organize comprehensive staff inductions, ensuring clarity on service conditions, salaries, and career progression.
  • Analyse and interpret labour laws, awards, contracts, and wage systems; develop enterprise agreements and workplace policies; oversee employee consultation and participation initiatives.
  • Conduct negotiations on employment terms and resolve disputes effectively, interpreting relevant legislation and employment contracts.
  • Maintain accurate employee records using Tanda and assist with HR administrative tasks to ensure efficient data management and support HR initiatives.
  • Organize and participate in employee engagement initiatives to promote a positive workplace culture.
  • Assist with performance management and employee relations issues.

Requirements:

  • Experience:
  • Minimum 2+ years of HR recruitment experience.
  • Skills:
  • Proficiency in employment contract management and PD development.
  • Sound knowledge of Fair Work regulations and National Employment Standards (NES).
  • Ability to interpret and apply industry awards.
  • Qualifications:
  • Relevant bachelor degree in Human Resources or postgraduate qualification in a similar field.
  • Attributes:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
  • Proactive and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
