About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Customer Service Specialist - Motoring Enthusiast. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide information and product knowledge to identify the right level of insurance protection to meet the customers' requirements.
  • Strive to make the complex simple while ensuring the customers' needs are met.
  • Share your passion for motoring and provide a unique service to ensure your customers can drive or ride forward with confidence, knowing they are covered by Shannons.

Training and Development

If successful, you will be offered 7 weeks of full-time, paid training, commencing on the Monday, 2nd December. This training will be held onsite at our Gisborne office.

Requirements

  • A genuine passion for cars or motorbikes is essential.
  • Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to build strong rapport with customers.
  • Proven problem-solving skills with a talent for simplifying complex issues for customers.
  • A strong drive to meet and exceed targets, demonstrating consistent motivation.
  • Eager to expand your knowledge and contribute ideas through innovative thinking.
  • High technical proficiency with experience navigating multiple systems.

Work from Home Requirements

As this role will be a combination of onsite attendance and work from home, you will need to be set up accordingly. You will be provided with a Suncorp laptop; however, you must organise the following:

  • Home phone line or VOIP connection.
  • Good quality internet connection, ergonomic setup including keyboard, mouse, dual screens, desk, chair, and a private space.
