National Sales Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced National Sales Manager to lead the growth of a new product segment in the renewable energy sector.
Key responsibilities- Develop and execute a sales and marketing plan to drive business growth and achieve strategic objectives.
- Monitor performance against the plan and prepare regular reports to stakeholders.
- Liaise with consultants and clients to develop and tender for new projects.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and deliver tenders for the mobile business.
- Provide face-to-face presentations and support local sales resources to ensure accuracy and professionalism of solutions offered.
- Develop and deliver product line sales targets and grow a team to support business growth in sales and project management.
- Maintain and enhance positive working relationships with customers to build customer loyalty and maximise future business opportunities.
- Provide accurate and timely forecasts of future demand and communicate market intelligence to optimise customer contact plans.
You will be a strategic, commercially minded professional with proven leadership, sales and marketing expertise and credible experience in the construction industry - ideally within the wind energy sector.
You will thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and have the proven ability to develop and grow a business from the ground up.
Desired qualifications and skills- Qualifications in Civil Engineering or related disciplines (preferred but not essential)
- Experience within the construction industry (essential)
- Experience within the wind industry (ideal)
- Demonstrable experience at taking a construction related solution and building a business behind it.
- Strong and relevant marketing and sales management experience.
- Credible project/project management experience.
- A self-motivated and outcomes-orientated attitude with a passionate 'can do' mind set.
- Highly effective skills at managing key stakeholder relationships.
- A strong team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A well-developed understanding of the importance of and ability to effectively communicate and build relationships both externally and within the business.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, Sales Force and other systems required to do the role effectively.
