Job Title

Audiologist or Audiometrist - Full Time Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Audiologist or Audiometrist to join our team at the World of Hearing clinic in Toowoomba, Queensland.

This is a permanent, full-time role working Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, in a state-of-the-art facility where you'll help clients rediscover sound.

About the Role
  • Assess and diagnose client hearing loss using a range of techniques, including audiometric tests
  • Report results and make referrals to medical practitioners as needed
  • Recommend solutions for clients with hearing impairment, including amplification, implantable devices, medical interventions and assistive listening devices, and provide aural rehabilitation programs
  • Counsel, advise and inform clients and families as part of overall treatment
  • Contribute to noise control and hearing conservation strategies
  • Provide treatment and management for age-related, disability-related or acquired hearing and communication disorders
Requirements
  • University Audiology qualification or TAFE Audiometry Qualification
  • Current membership (CCP) or eligibility for membership (CCP) of AudA or ACAud
  • Current QP number
  • Solid audiological skills and knowledge
  • Excellent customer care and service skills, with a passion for delivering an amazing client experience
  • Ability to learn and understand new software with training
  • Proven ability to achieve KPIs
  • Well-developed interpersonal, negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to continued professional development
  • Good team working skills
  • Ability to network with GP's and other allied health professionals
