Clinical Hearing Specialist

Connect Hearing is seeking a dedicated and skilled clinical hearing specialist to join our vibrant team in Toowoomba, Queensland. This permanent, full-time role offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on clients' lives through better hearing.
About the RoleThis exciting position involves assessing and diagnosing client hearing loss using various techniques, including audiometric tests. You will be responsible for reporting results, making referrals, and recommending solutions to improve clients' hearing experience. Your excellent communication skills and customer care approach will ensure seamless interactions with clients and families.
- Audiological assessments and diagnoses of client hearing loss
- Reporting test results and making referrals to medical professionals
- Providing counseling and advice to clients and families
- Developing and managing noise control and hearing conservation strategies
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A university audiology qualification or TAFE audiometry qualification
- Current membership of AudA or ACAud
- Solid audiological skills and knowledge
- Excellent levels of customer care and service
- Ability to learn new software
- Proven ability to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Well-developed interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
