
**Hearing Care Specialist**

We are seeking a skilled Audiologist to support and empower clients of all backgrounds. As an integral member of our team, you will work alongside dedicated professionals who share your passion for delivering exceptional hearing care.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of audiology principles and practices, with the ability to assess and rehabilitate clients with various auditory issues. Your expertise in fitting hearing aids, assistive listening devices, and communication strategies will be invaluable in providing comprehensive support to our clients.
In addition to your clinical skills, we seek a professional who is flexible, adaptable, and willing to participate in marketing/public relations activities as required. You will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose auditory problems in non-complex adult clients using established Australian standards and methods.
- Provide individualized rehabilitative support, including the fitting of hearing aids, assistive listening devices, and communication strategies.
- Refer clients to relevant professionals or seek guidance from senior audiologists when necessary.
- Participate in visiting sites and home visits to provide services to clients in their own environments.
- Liaise with National Disability Insurance Scheme representatives, allied health professionals, and families/carers to ensure seamless client support.
- Undertake marketing/public relations activities as required to promote our services within the community.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Tertiary qualification in Audiology.
- Full and current membership with the Audiology Society of Australia.
- Sound knowledge of clinical Audiology and procedures in accordance with Australian standards.
- Experience working with the Hearing Services Program.
- Exposure to the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) scheme.
- Ability to travel to other locations to undertake clinical work.
- Flexibility and adaptability to accommodate business changes to clinical practice, products, and policies.
