Career Opportunity:
Pullman & Mercure Melbourne Albert Park is seeking an experienced Executive Sous Chef to join our kitchen team as a Lead Culinary Operations Manager.
About the Role:
- We require an individual with strong leadership skills to assist the Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations and oversee food preparations in the à la carte and banqueting kitchens.
- The ideal candidate will have a creative approach to menu development, with experience in both à la carte and banqueting operations.
- We need someone who can inspire and nurture a diverse culinary workforce, with a proven ability to effectively interact and communicate with staff, management, and vendors.
- This role requires a strong understanding of seasonal menu creation and design, as well as Food Safety (HACCP) knowledge.
- We are looking for someone who can efficiently manage stock levels and oversee invoicing processes.
