
Strategic HR Leader

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to partner with our hotel leaders and drive strategic recruitment, training, and performance management initiatives.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing employee records, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and policies, and leading Workplace Health and Safety processes.
In addition, the HR Manager will assist in driving compliance during audits and work closely with other leaders to ensure accuracy in timesheets and fortnightly payroll.
Key Responsibilities- Recruitment and Training Management: Partner with hotel leaders to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies, manage training programs, and evaluate performance outcomes.
- Employee Records Management: Manage employee records, including onboarding, offboarding, and record-keeping, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and policies.
- WHS Processes: Lead Workplace Health and Safety processes, including risk assessments, incident reporting, and compliance monitoring.
- Audit Support: Assist in driving compliance during audits, working closely with other leaders to ensure accurate information and minimize risks.
- Payroll Accuracy: Collaborate with finance to ensure accuracy in timesheets and fortnightly payroll processing.
- Tertiary Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Management or a related field are highly regarded.
- Related Experience: Proven experience as a HR Advisor or Business Partner in a hospitality or hotel environment is essential.
- IHG Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the IHG/Hotel Industry is highly valued, with knowledge of industry-specific systems and processes.
- Fair Work Act Understanding: A sound understanding of the Fair Work Act and its implications on HR practices is necessary.
- System Proficiency: Experience using Preceda and UKG systems is an advantage, with proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
