Financial and Administrative Claims Specialist

The role of the Financial and Client Services team is pivotal in facilitating early and sustainable return to work or recovery at work, collaborating with employers and employees.
The team operates under two sub-units: Income Support and Financial and Client Services. The Income Support unit determines incapacity payments, while the Financial and Client Services unit handles administrative claim functions, including provider payment processing and document management.
As a Financial and Administrative Claims Specialist, you will be responsible for client-facing tasks, handling claims calls, administrative duties, and accurate receipting and classification of claim documentation.
Key performance indicators for this position include timely and accurate processing activities, adhering to set procedures.
In addition, you will determine simple normal weekly earnings/hours, process Claim for Time off Work forms, support debt recovery operations, and assist in payments for claimants.
