Job Overview:

The Director, Claims Administration and Income Support oversees a team responsible for managing financial and administrative aspects of claims management services. They lead continuous improvement initiatives and implement them into business operations.

This role involves ensuring timely and effective delivery of financial calculations and administrative transactional activities critical to delivering high-performing claims management services. The Director reports to the Senior Director, Claims Operations and oversees team members across multiple locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading a multi-disciplinary service delivery team within Claims Operations.
  • Managing financial calculations and administrative transactional activities related to claims management.
  • Implementing continuous improvement initiatives and leading their delivery into business operations.
  • Reporting to the Senior Director, Claims Operations.

Requirements:

Mandatory qualifications include tertiary studies in a relevant field such as finance, accounting, compensation, business, or management.

Eligibility Conditions:

  • Character clearance (Australian Criminal History Check).
  • Employee Health Declaration.
  • Six months probationary period for new engagements.
  • Negative Vetting 1 Security Clearance.
