Facilities Support Specialist
About the Role:This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal part in our facilities team, supporting the technical services for our owned portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:- Triage and allocate helpdesk requests to contractors or facilities managers according to the site-specific Work Order Matrix.
- Monitor the closeout of open work orders to ensure completion by contractors or facilities managers.
- Review and save site-specific SWMS documents, escalating non-compliance to the site facilities manager as needed.
- Manage contractor competency documents, follow up on expirations, and escalate issues to the regional facilities manager.
- Ensure adherence to established policies and contribute to a positive workplace culture, aligned with company values of Respect, Integrity, Services, and Excellence.
- Strong logical thinking and analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications at an intermediate level.
- A customer-focused approach with a focus on performance outcomes across all levels.
- 1-2 years of experience in building facilities management and a relevant tertiary qualification preferred.
- Working alongside an experienced team/leader.
