We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Building Facilities Manager.

Job Summary

This is a six-month contract position with our State Government client, requiring the successful candidate to oversee facilities operations and provide exceptional customer service.

Main Responsibilities
  • Liaise with other sections and external contractors for maintenance and operation of buildings.
  • Provide high-quality customer service in a team environment with flexible working arrangements.
  • Assist in overseeing site security to ensure integrity of systems.
  • Undertake tasks related to setting up meeting rooms, including furniture rearrangement and IT equipment setup.
  • Operate vehicles for deliveries to schools as required.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Ability to oversee contractors and manage facilities operations.
  • Understanding and appreciation of operational functions in an occupied building.
Desirable Attributes
  • Well-developed organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Highly developed customer service skills in a training venue.
  • Ability to assess and develop solutions to building issues.
Mandatory Requirements
  • A good level of physical fitness due to furniture shifting requirements.
  • A current 'C' class Driver's licence.
