Job Role: Facilities Manager

Job Description:

The incumbent will provide day-to-day support to the building services team, coordinating maintenance activities and contractors at the Parkes Facility and Off-Site Storage. This role reports directly to the Assistant Manager, Building Services and is located within the Building Services and Infrastructure portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the building services team in delivering day-to-day maintenance activities;
  • Coordinating contractors for various tasks at the Parkes Facility and Off-Site Storage;
  • Providing administrative support to the Assistant Manager, Building Services.

Essential Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a facilities or building services role;
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and projects simultaneously;
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Relevant trade qualifications (e.g., electrical, mechanical);
  • Certification in First Aid and CPR;
  • Experience with facility management software.
