Job Description:

This is a 12 month fulltime contract role for an Assistant Director Strategic Change Implementation Manager.

The successful candidate will join the team within a Federal Government Agency based in Brisbane and work on high level policy advice and operational support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gathering and developing structured insights and recommendations for change design and implementation of projects
  • Developing, implementing and evaluating project and change management requirements in accordance with the Project Delivery Framework and Change Management Framework
  • Creatings materials for senior internal and external stakeholders, including the Minister, Board and Executive Leadership Team to communicate perspectives, recommendations and implications for the Agency
  • Presenting recommendations and facilitating discussions with a range of Agency stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Identifying, assessing and reporting change risks or issues
  • Developing action plans and ensuring stakeholder alignment for enabling successful implementation
  • Leading the tracking and evaluation of change management activities in the Agency and proposing recommendations for continuous improvement

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2-6 years experience in transformation, design, change management and project management
  • Change and/or Project Management qualifications
  • Demonstrated success delivering against key performance indicators and delivering results within agreed time frame
  • Experience working in complex cross functional teams
  • Demonstrated success in building momentum for and delivery of change activity
  • Emotional intelligence in working with stakeholders and leaders at all levels of the organisation
  • Willng to get your hands dirty where required
  • Strong presentation and ownership skills
  • Ownership skills
