Organisational Change Leader Role

The Organisational Change Leader will be instrumental in driving the success of a complex, multi-faceted transformation programme.

  • Develop and implement tailored change management strategies to facilitate organisational restructuring and operating model transformation.
  • Engage and mentor senior leaders, sponsors, and delivery teams to enhance their change capability.
  • Conduct stakeholder analysis, change impact assessments, and readiness planning to inform programme decisions.
  • Collaborate with project managers and business leads to embed new processes and behaviours across the organisation.
  • Coordinate cross-divisional activities to ensure consistent messaging and integration with other change initiatives.
  • Design and deliver engaging communications and training programmes to support employee adoption.
  • Evaluate change effectiveness and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Manage change scope and proposals to assess impacts on schedules and resource planning.

Key qualifications include:

  • Proven experience in leading large-scale organisational change projects across complex, multi-stream environments, preferably within the public sector.
  • Strong background in process redesign, transformation programmes, or restructuring projects, with expertise in facilitating behavioural change.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Experience in working within large-scale public sector or regulated industries is desirable but not essential.
  • Proficiency in recognised change methodologies (e.g. PROSCI, ADKAR) and digital collaboration tools is required.
  • Ability to work with ambiguity and proactively shape change direction, with strong strategic thinking and practical execution skills.
  • Must have full Australian working rights (citizenship, permanent residency, or long-term visa holders).
