Rehabilitation Consultant Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement rehabilitation plans based on thorough assessments.
  • Design intervention programs to improve functional performance, independence, and work capacity.
  • Identify barriers and create effective programs that support people in achieving maximum work participation.
  • Empower clients to achieve wellness and recovery goals by understanding various healthcare and rehabilitation funding schemes.
  • Liaise with clients, family members, medical practitioners, employers, and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.

Requirements:

  • AHPRA or ESSA registration as a Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist is essential.
  • Strong communication skills to engage clients and stakeholders in the wellness and work journey.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality customer service to clients and customers.
  • Ability to work in the community, with a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
  • Current or willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check and Police Clearance.
