About the Role

The Game Development Logistics Manager is a critical position that oversees the procurement and delivery of products for Game Development programs. This includes managing relationships with suppliers, building strong relationships with internal teams, and ensuring the seamless delivery of program benefits and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage relationships with suppliers for Auskick and Superkick participant packs, centre/club resources, and staff equipment/logistical needs.
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams, including Game Development, Procurement, Corporate Partners, and State/Territories.
  • Oversee the procurement, logistics, and monitoring of Auskick packs across Auskick and schools, including stock management, forecasting/ordering, delivery timelines, and budgeting.
  • Lead the sourcing of products across Game Development to meet program objectives.
  • Work with the Participation and Programs team to strategically map out program requirements and create efficiencies and cost savings.
  • Utilize products and equipment to link to wider marketing and brand promotion.
  • Work closely with data and analytics, PlayHQ (database provider), and suppliers on timely dispatch of goods.
  • Manage and execute Auskick & Superkick fulfillment process, data, and requests, including Junior Membership program.
  • Stay up-to-date with trends and enticing products for participant programs.
  • Utilize skills in data cleansing and interpretation of data in Microsoft Excel.
  • Contribute to key projects within and outside of core role and support and contribute to the success of the broader team.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual with a strong background in operations, sourcing, logistics, or management. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience working in operations, sourcing, logistics, or management roles, preferably at a national level.
  • Strong administration skills, including experience with Microsoft software and high proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Extensive stakeholder engagement experience, including the ability to deal with internal and external stakeholders on approvals and set timelines/budgets.
  • Proven ability to offer innovative and diverse ideas.
  • Understanding of licensing and/or royalty programs.
  • Skilled in delivering quality outcomes within specific time frames and to deadline.
  • Ability to strategically leverage participant data to enhance user experience and collaborate with other business areas as needed.
  • Capable of setting priorities and managing tasks to achieve objectives efficiently.
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication, interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Effective negotiating, mediating, and conflict resolution skills, along with experience managing competing interests.
  • Demonstrated experience in budget metrics and targets.
  • Highly motivated individual.
  • Degree in a related field, such as Logistics, Operations, or Business, or equivalent experience desirable.
