Key Responsibilities
  • Shabbat and Festival Coordination: Assist in coordinating events and activities during Shabbat and Festivals, ensuring smooth execution and effective communication with the team and congregation.
  • General Administration: Provide administrative support to the General Manager and office team, handling tasks such as email management, data entry, and filing.
  • Event Co-ordination: Collaborate with the event planning team to coordinate events, meetings, and functions, ensuring all logistics are in place and details are accurate.
  • Marketing: Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies, creating engaging content, and managing social media platforms to promote the synagogue and its events.
Requirements
  • Qualifications and Experience: A minimum of one year of experience in a marketing or office administration capacity, with knowledge of computer and web-based systems, social media, and event management.
  • Skills and Abilities: Excellent interpersonal communication skills, self-starting and creative problem-solving abilities, high motivation, responsibility, and flexibility, with a sense of humor and ability to work well under time pressure.
  • Availability: Ability to be physically present at the synagogue on selected events and Shabbatot to ensure events run as planned.
