About the Role

This fixed-term contract, until 30 June 2026, offers an attractive hourly rate in line with a SCHADS Award level 5 ($53.24 per hour), plus 11.5% superannuation, working 30 hours per week from Tuesday to Friday.



Job Description

This Conflict Resolution Specialist will provide high-quality interventions to families experiencing conflict post-separation, supporting them in reaching agreements on child care and property distribution under the Family Law Act.


The role includes intake, risk assessment, case management, mediation, and child-inclusive practice.


You will also deliver general mediation services, facilitating groups, seminars, and workshops, and conducting intake assessments, developing case plans, and promoting services effectively.



Key Responsibilities

  • Provide family dispute resolution and general mediation services
  • Facilitate groups, seminars, and workshops
  • Conduct intake assessments, develop case plans, and parenting agreements
  • Facilitate effective referral and promotion of services
  • Participate in program and service evaluations


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must hold a Graduate Diploma in Family Dispute Resolution and current accreditation as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner with the Attorney General's Department.


Demonstrated experience in delivering dispute resolution, family law, and/or mediation services with families and children, casework, and group facilitation is essential.


You will require strong solutions-focused communication skills, report writing, data collection, and technology proficiency.
