Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive budgeting, reporting, and financial analysis, focusing on month-end processes, accruals, and payroll distribution.

  • Leverage Oracle ERP and other finance systems for project accounting and reporting.
  • Develop financial models and forecasts to aid in long-term planning.

  • Contribute to policy and process development, ensuring continuous improvement.

We're seeking a proactive individual with a collaborative approach, experienced in government finance, budgeting, reporting, Oracle, and project accounting.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CA highly regarded).
  • Demonstrated experience in financial planning, forecasting, and ERP systems.
  • Strong stakeholder management, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • A thorough understanding of Victorian Government financial policies and processes is advantageous.
