Job Role

The Senior HR Advisor will work closely with Project Officers to lead and deliver workforce initiatives and support services to build teacher supply to Victorian government schools.

This role optimises the team's skills to support strategic decision-making and enhance people management for workforce planning.

Key success factors include creating a positive environment, leading by example to drive a culture of excellence in customer service through expert HR advice and tailored support solutions.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Leading a team of Project Officers/Business Partners, including workload allocation and supervision of staff as required.
  2. Providing employees with leadership, information, and guidance to achieve outcomes and ensure they meet project objectives.
  3. Delivering workforce initiatives and support services, complex HR systems, processes, and communication.
  4. Contributing to high-quality reports, briefs, and business plans to deliver on evolving organisational priorities and key initiatives.
  5. Identifying and addressing barriers and devising effective solutions.
  6. Developing business resources and communication action plans to foster partnership models with schools.
  7. Supporting project management and procurement processes as required.
