This exciting role will see you partner with our Victorian and Tasmanian Store Leadership team to deliver our progressive SHW strategy. You'll lead and coach our State Safety, Health and Wellbeing Partners to mitigate risks to team, customers, and stakeholders in store. With a focus on care, education, coaching, and best practice processes, you'll build strong trusting relationships across our store network and ecosystem.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and coach our State Safety, Health and Wellbeing Partners to deliver support in and above store.
  • Investigate incidents, collaborate with regulators, and embed improvements to mitigate risks in stores.
  • Create and build strong trusting relationships across our store network.
  • Lead weekly and monthly reporting and updates for internal stakeholders to drive improved performance across the State.
  • Lead a proactive approach to identify risks and embed risk reduction strategies.
  • Collaborate across our State's store network to deliver a consistent national safety, health and wellbeing plan.
  • Accurately monitor internal and external trends and report on safety, health and wellbeing performance, proactively identifying opportunities to improve risk reduction strategies.

What You'll Bring:

  • A degree in OHS, Science, Health, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years in a leadership role with proven safety leadership experience, preferably in the FMCG industry.
  • Experience leading and building connected teams with a collective drive for results.
  • A comprehensive understanding of safety health and wellbeing related legislation, standards, and codes.
  • Excellent leadership skills and the ability to drive cultural change and development.
  • Strong logical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • The ability to navigate an ever-changing environment and pivot as required.
  • A strong growth mindset with a desire to collaborate across teams.
