We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Occupational Health and Safety Specialist at IIQAF. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all employees and visitors in our organization. This includes implementing and enforcing safety regulations, conducting regular inspections, and providing training programs to promote a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Investigate accidents and incidents, and develop recommendations to prevent future occurrences
  • Provide training programs to educate employees on proper safety protocols
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure all safety requirements are being met
  • Advise management on health and safety issues, and recommend improvements
  • Monitor and assess health and safety risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field
  • Certified Health and Safety Professional (CHSP) designation is preferred
  • Proven experience in implementing health and safety programs
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local health and safety regulations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
